11 NOVEMBER 2010 NEW FACES AT ADA INC. BARBARA PEATMAN ADRF Services Officer and Committee Secretary Since returning to the workforce after raising her two sons, Barbara has worked for 10 years in the Foundation and Development Office of St Ignatius' College, Riverview -- firstly as Personal Assistant to the Director of Development and then as the Alumni and Special Events Manager. During her time at Riverview Barbara was seconded for 18 months to work with the Jesuit's organizational committee for 'World Youth Day 2008' which was a challenging and wonderful experience for her. From there Barbara moved to Tara Anglican School for Girls in a marketing and communications role. Prior to starting at the ADRF Barbara worked as the fundraising assistant to the General Manager at the Sydney Adventist Hospital Foundation. Barbara hopes that her previous experience of working in fundraising areas of not-for-profit organizations will be of a benefit to the ADRF and is looking forward to an interesting and rewarding time with the ADRF and ADA. Barbara's other interests include golf, theatre, reading and quilting.
