SUSAN MUNRO Committee Secretary Susan has an eclectic work history which allowed her the time and flexibility to enjoy early nurturing years with her once young family whilst working part-time, co-ordinating house renovations and studying horticulture. Her many workplace hats have included: coordinating a freelance legal document search and registration business; job sharing Clontarf Marine Administration; managing a speech pathology clinic part-time and dabbling in a small landscape design consultancy. Once her youngest child entered high school, Susan took on a full-time role as PA to the Senior Master of Riverview College. This role developed over 10 years to coordinating various events and publications within the College and working on the Planning Committee with the Senior Executive Team. After holidaying overseas and family commitments, Susan returned to work at Wheelchair Sports in the lead up to the Beijing Paralympic Games which was a wonderful opportunity; this was followed by an administrative management position supporting the Studio Manager/Directors of Woods Bagot, Architects. More recently, she enjoyed a 12 month locum position as EA to the President of the Board and the CEO of The Infants' Home in Ashfield -- Sydney's original orphanage. Susan is enjoying learning the intricacies of the various committees at ADA Inc. and hopes in time to become a valuable support to her allocated chairpersons and committee members. Although in the past Susan has enjoyed collecting teapots and pieces of china she has more recently discovered the pleasure of smashing china and tiles to create mosaics. Susan appreciates photography and is keen to increase her skills; she likes to get lost in a good book or movie; enjoys live theatre and wishes she had more travel opportunities.
