42 MAY 2011 REPAIR SYSTEM fOR CERAMIC RESTORATIOnS CIMARA ZIRCON from VOCO offers an alternative solution to rectifying fractures in ceramic veneering which is a complicated and time-consuming procedure with corresponding costs. CIMARA ZIRCON enables restorations to be repaired intraorally, quickly and inexpensively at the chairside. This avoids complicated and time-consuming measures such as removal of the restoration, impression taking and the provision of temporary restorations. The complete set contains all the components required for a repair that is stable as it is aesthetically pleasing. The set includes a primer specially developed for the properties of the material, zirconium dioxide, an adhesive matched to the indication, the high-performance composite Grandio®SO as well as special grinding burs for conditioning the ceramic surfaces in the area of the defect. Repairs with CIMARA ZIRCON create a permanent bond between ceramic and composite with a high shear bond strength values. CIMARA ZIRCON is a useful supplement to Cimara, the repair system for metal ceramic restorations. Contact VOCO Australia: David Reyno. GRANDIO®SO FLOW is the new, flowable universal composite with medium-viscosity for restorations in the anterior and posterior regions. It joins the high-viscosity Grandio®SO Heavy Flow in the Grandio®SO product line. The material properties of GRANDIO®SO FLOW make it suitable for all classes of cavity (I-V), including restorations bearing masticatory loads. The material can likewise be used for a wide range of other indications, including extended fissure sealing, cavity lining, repairs of restorations and veneers, as well as attaching translucent restorations such as all-ceramic crowns. GRANDIO®SO FLOW has high filler content (81% by weight) and its physical properties such as hardness, strength or resistance to abrasion make it suitable for producing durable restorations. It has high colour stability and is available in 12 shades covering the complete spectrum for dentistry. The white opaque shade (WO) has a radiopacity of 500% Al. It is also easy to polish ensuring restorations maintain their lustre and long-term aesthetic appearance. GRANDIO®SO FLOW has excellent flow behaviour with complete wetting of the cavity walls. The material is available both in the non- running, non-dripping NDT® syringe and in caps with pliable metal cannula and can be hygienically applied safely with precision. REBILDA FORM is used for building up severely decayed teeth with or without the use of a root post. The material can be quickly and simply adapted to the tooth being restored due to the shape of the cuff, three sizes (small, medium, large) and the special design of the edge with its guide grooves. REBILDA FORM can also be cut to the required length. REBILDA FORM is adapted in size and length to the tooth to be built up; the tooth substance is then prepared for the adhesive bonding technique. Following polymerisation, REBILDA FORM is placed on the stump and filled with composite build-up material. The build-up material is then chemically or light cured, a process which demonstrates additional benefits of the shaping aid: REBILDA FORM does not combine with standard composite build-up materials and is light transmissive for polymerisation. REBILDA FORM can be removed easily after the build-up material has cured by cutting the shaping aid along its length with a fine diamond bur with water cooling and then removing the material. The core build-up can then be prepared in the usual way. Contact VOCO Australia: David Reyno. Phone: 0401 747 037 Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
