Together we can give oral cancer awareness a voice. Here’s how it will work. We want people to start a conversation about the causes of oral cancer and you can help this happen. ➜ 4. We start saving lives With an average of 3 people being diagnosed with oral cancer every day, just this simple act of passing on an email or talking to the people around us could save a life. ➜ 3. People visit the website The email will also link to a new website with information on the causes and symptoms of oral cancer, early detection and prevention. The site also contains information on other oral diseases and tips for maintaining good oral health. ➜ Towards the end of July we’re going to provide you with a simple email that explains some basic but little- known facts about oral cancer. 1. We send you an email ➜ As well as forwarding the email to your family and friends, you could also send it to your patients and ask them to pass it on to their contacts. 2.
